May 29th, Himalaya Day, is a special day in our history and heritage, as it commemorates the day in 1953 on which Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay achieved the first ascent of Mount Everest.
Every year we get together as a community to celebrate this legacy and our shared love for the Himalaya. This May, we invite you to join us at one of our Himalaya Day celebrations around the country.
Spend a joyous night with us immersed in the Himalaya with delicious Indian and Nepalese cuisine, fantastic raffle prizes and Himalayan trivia – and learn more about AHF’s current programs from AHF Directors, Ambassadors and special guests.
