Canberra for Nepal - Community United in Hope
On Friday 25 September, at the Saharsh Pavillion in Fyshwick ACT, join Canberra for Nepal for a special evening in support of communities affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. Experience an evening of traditional Nepali food, cultural performances, live entertainment and an auction, while helping raise vital funds for flood-affected communities.
Canberra for Nepal began when a group of Canberra volunteers came together wanting to turn our concern for those affected by the devastating floods in Nepal into practical action.
Their aims are simple: to turn $1 into $5 by combining time, skills and community connections; bring people together around a shared purpose; involve our young people in giving back; and maintain transparency about where the money raised goes.
On Friday 25 September, they are bringing the Canberra community together for a fundraising dinner filled with Nepali food, cultural performances, live entertainment and an auction.
Canberra for Nepal are proud to partner with the Australian Himalayan Foundation, knowing their experience, trusted local partnerships and longstanding connection with Himalayan communities will help turn Canberra's generosity into meaningful support for communities affected by the floods.
Whether you attend our dinner, donate through this page, volunteer or simply share our appeal, every contribution is part of something bigger.
Together, we are carrying hope.
