Hike Mount Majura & Mount Ainslie | Canberra, ACT
Join esteemed mountaineer and longtime AHF supporter Zac Zaharias for a spectacular hike through Canberra’s scenic nature reserves. With 23 Himalayan expeditions under his belt—including summiting Everest in 2010—Zac brings a wealth of experience in mountaineering, leadership, and adventure.
This 11 km hike will take you to the summits of Mt Majura and Mt Ainslie, offering breathtaking views over the capital. Along the way, Zac will share tales from his time in the mountains and insights into the AHF’s work in remote Himalayan communities. We’ll finish with a well-earned lunch at the Australian War Memorial Café, making for the perfect blend of challenge, inspiration, and camaraderie.
