Today’s Gift!
If you’re an artist, now is your time to shine! Create a Himalayan inspired artwork, send it to us and we will choose one entry to use as our 2021 Christmas card.
Email us an image of your original drawing, painting, collage, photo, embroidery, etc at [email protected] Make sure you include your name and phone number, and the subject heading “Christmas Artwork”.
We welcome entries from all ages. All entries to be in by January 12 – at the end of January we will choose one piece to be on our 2021 AHF Christmas card. Must be your own work, and not be previously published elsewhere. We will not be paying for the use of the image, and will only use it with your permission.
Mountain Story of the Day – Safe kids
In Nepal, AHF is working with our partner REED Nepal to keep kids safe in school. Social distancing is not always possible in small schools, but we have supplied masks, hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities. Teachers are helping to fit masks and teach little ones correct handwashing.
Thanks to everyone who donates to our work, we will continue to support communities in the Himalaya through COVID and beyond. AHF acknowledges the support of the Australian Government and their Australian NGO Cooperation Program for our Teacher Training and Quality Education program.
