Come on a journey to explore magical Bhutan, seeing all the highlights of this secretive country.

This 9 day trip through Bhutan goes at a gentle pace, allowing you to immerse yourself in the culture and sights of the beautiful kingdom.

Starting in Paro with some Bhutanese cooking and a lesson in wearing the Kira and Gho (traditional Bhutanese dress), we also visit famous Tiger’s Nest, the Takstang Monastery before travelling across country to Thimpu. Here we have a chance to meet the people most impacted by the work of the Australian Himalayan Foundation, the women and children supported through scholarships, education and vocational training programs.

From Thimpu we travel via Punakha, experiencing the majestic heights of Gangkhar Puensum, the “White Peak of the Three Spiritual Brothers”. A night in Punakha allows us to visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyal temple for some amazing views of the Punakha valley before returning to Paro for the flight home.
