Merry Christmas from AHF and our partner Kathmandu!

Throughout December this year, all Kathmandu stores will be taking donations for the Australian Himalayan Foundation. Every dollar given in Australia will go to the AHF to support our education programs in Nepal. These programs include our kids’ scholarships and our Teacher Training and Quality Education program (TTQE). This program trains teachers to give quality, child-focused education.

Available online and in specific Kathmandu stores, every person who donates $10 or more will be rewarded with this beautiful little Red Panda (while stocks last). The Red Panda lives high in the Himalaya and is currently an endangered animal. These delightful little tree ornaments have been especially handmade by a group of artisan craft producers in Nepal. This makes them a unique Christmas ornament for your tree. Every year it will remind you of the Himalaya, and the difference you make by being an AHF supporter.

In the past two years, our Christmas campaign in partnership with Kathmandu has raised over $70,000. Working together, small actions and small donations can make a BIG difference. We are so thrilled to once again be able to partner with Kathmandu to give something back to the region that so inspires their customers and staff.
